Epicenter of Historical Reenactors

There were people in costume all over Gettysburg: men in accurate blue and gray uniforms, and women in petticoats. In the bookstore there were two men in ordinary clothes having a passionate discussion about some detail of the battle.

Civil War history is fascinating, isn't it? Have you read "The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara? It won the Pulitzer Prize in the mid '70s and I highly recommend it.

I'm puzzled by the re-enactors, though. :-)
