A pint with K and D

The pub names of Edinburgh are the best. We saw Angels with Bagpipes, the Conan Doyle, the Deacon Brodie, and many more. Deacon Brodie was the original for Stevenson's Dr Jekyll. He had a dark side which was depicted on the other side of the sign. We ended up getting our pint at the "Halfway House" so called because it was halfway up a steep hill. David ordered haggis which was delicious.

I want to know more about the haggis. Texture? Color? What, exactly, was "delicious" about it? Enquiring minds, etc.

You were brave to try the haggis! But I bet that's because you knew it had lots of oats in it (to counter the other ingredients.)
