Lunch with Z

Aunties were lucky enough to take Zizi to lunch today. Playing Pokémon in the park, eating French fries, and having an ice cream cone are all important parts of a perfect Zizi day.

At a farm in Oregon

Today we went to Portland to visit B, M, and, of course, C!

We went to a cute pumpkin farm in hopes of getting some cute family photos.

Cash was not 100% cooperative. His new baby brother will be born any day now!

Here he is, reading a book about pumpkins.

There is a lovely view of a lake at Lakeview Farm.

This came so close to working:

185 pages later....

We finished the draft of our history of La Crosse! I am now editing it with a beer chaser. A German beer might have been a more historically accurate choice, come to think of it.

Canvassing the mansions

Today Joanna and I went canvassing in Madison Park.  We visited 30 magnificent mansions. Most people weren't home, but the few who were all seemed to be right-thinking individuals.

Ministries Fair and more

Something terrible happened to Elizabeth's iPhone. She dropped it.

I spent several hours sitting behind the Liturgy Table totally focused on the Liturgy Table.

The Choir was back. They gave Paul some cuff links in honor of completing his first year at St James.

Weekend adventures

This was a weekend of fun adventures! We went to Starbucks with Z.

Zizi loves trying on glasses at Half Price Books. I think she will be sorted into Gryffindor.

Some of the glasses made everything look smudgy, Zizi said.

This morning, dear Christina stopped by to say goodbye. Tomorrow she flies out to Glasgow to begin her graduate studies!

I am sure it will be an amazing year. P.S.: Can I come?
