A birthday party

Today is the long-awaited day: Charlotte Brontë's 200th birthday. Needless to say, there was a birthday party.

Chris not only made a delicious seedcake for dessert, she also made a diorama complete with Parsonage.

Because today is also Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday, we listened to a grand choral setting of "God save the Queen."

Our parlor game was Brontë blackout poetry. Rebecca obviously has some experience with the genre:

Happy birthday, CB!
