At the Chicago History Museum

Our last Chicago stop was the Chicago History Museum. It is like walking into a middle-school history textbook. We were considerably older and taller than most of the other Thursday morning patrons of the place.

Illinois is the Land of Lincoln, so we got to see his watch. The museum also has the bed where he died but unfortunately that is currently on loan to some other Lincoln museum.

Interesting entry. I spent a year at Northwestern but didn't get to visit this museum. Would love to go back.
